Tell Senator Leone
Carlo Leone is at is at it again. The Stamford and Darien state senator is co-chairman of the State Transportation Committee. In support of Governor Malloy’s bidding Senator Leone is proposing the reintroduction of Connecticut Tolls.
Senator Leone defines himself as an advocate for the economy and jobs while voting for massive tax increases and promoting programs and policies that have placed huge financial burdens on the people of Connecticut. The Demoicratic Party controlled legislature is destroying the business and job environment, as well as creating an exodus of wealth and brain power from the state.
Senator Leone and the Democratic Party minions that include House Speaker Joe Aresimowicz, a fulltime employee of Council 4 American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees Union, perpetually raid the State Transportation Fund for non transportation related budget shortfalls, leaving no funds for infrastructure maintenance and are now proposing tolls as an alternative to support their free- wheeling spending ways.
The refusal of Democratic Party Legislators to address spending reform and the crushing taxation they have imposed should be vehemently opposed.
